I know very few people have ever visited my journal (due to its' extream lack of content) but I feel the need to write this anyhow. Just sort of solidifies things in my head.

After the deadlines for current ficathons and image challenges pass I will be migrateing to another journaling service. Although I'm not a fan of Harry Potter smut, I don't like the way that livejournal has been conducting itself to its users. I'm not getting preachy, I'm not sounding out a rallying cry, I'm just done. My personal journal will remain on the livejournal server because it lacks anything that could come into question (most of my teenaged angst was deleted long ago) and I've never had a problem with their policies on personal journals.

However I like to lean towards darker places with my fiction and art and livejournal has clearly made the stance that this is not the place for it.

This journal will stay open - I'm just not sure how long. If enough of fandom does indeed migrate to another journaling service then I will shut this account down. If however it doesn't then I will continue to use it to join ficathon challenges and just post the content onto another site.

I will update this entry with a link when I have made the move so that any prospective viewers can easily find me.

UPDATE: For all of you who I'm working on a piece of art for - I'm so sorry! My computer sort of died, I'm still working on it and still plan to complete your requests its just going to take me longer than I would have liked.

Except for with the Big Boom challenge - I already had to drop that and I'm incredibly sorry. The due date escaped me and the coordinator e-mailed me so I thought it'd be best to let them pass it on to somebody who can actually do it in a set amount of time.

So computer dead - still working. If this is unacceptable e-mail me and let me know what date you absolutely HAVE to have it by and I'll see if I can make it work.
